Same-Day and Emergency Commercial Cleaning

Same-day commercial cleaning is usually gated by your building, not by crew availability. In a building where we already hold vendor credentials and a Certificate of Insurance, we can often be on site the same day. In a building where we do not, expect a 24–72 hour insurance and registration cycle before anyone can be badged in — no matter what any vendor promises.

We would rather tell you that up front than promise tonight and explain tomorrow.

What Actually Determines How Fast Anyone Can Help You

Commercial buildings do not admit unregistered vendors. A crew standing in your lobby with no COI on file and no badge is not going to be cleaning your office, however urgent the situation is. If you are in a Class B or C building with a managing agent who reviews insurance in a day, the cycle is short. In a building with a formal vendor portal and a security review, it is longer.

The practical implication: if same-day response matters to you, the time to solve it is before you need it. Having a vendor already registered in your building is worth considerably more than a promise of speed from one who is not.

What We Respond To

  • Water events — pipe bursts, HVAC condensate failures, sprinkler discharge, roof and window leaks. Extraction and drying, then an honest assessment of whether you need a licensed water damage restoration contractor rather than a cleaning company.
  • Your incumbent did not show up. This is the most common call we get. If it is a one-off, we will do a make-good clean. If it is the third time this quarter, read this first — there is probably a contractual remedy you are entitled to and have not claimed.
  • Illness and outbreak response — enhanced disinfection of affected areas with a written record of what was treated.
  • Post-event — the morning after a client event, holiday party or all-hands.
  • Unexpected visits — an investor, a board, an auditor, a landlord inspection, a prospective tenant tour.
  • Construction dust intrusion from work on an adjacent floor.

What We Will Refer Out

Category 3 water (sewage or contaminated water), mould remediation beyond surface treatment, fire and smoke restoration, biohazard and trauma cleanup, and anything requiring an asbestos or lead abatement licence. These are licensed specialties. We will tell you within the first phone call which one you actually need, which is often more useful than sending a crew.

What Is Included

  • Rapid response where we already hold building credentials
  • Water extraction and surface drying for clean-water events
  • Make-good cleaning after a missed service from another vendor
  • Enhanced disinfection with a written record of areas treated
  • Post-event cleanup and reset
  • Pre-visit presentation cleans on short notice
  • Construction dust intrusion cleanup
  • Honest triage on the first call about whether you need a licensed specialist instead

What Is Not Included Unless You Ask for It

This list exists on purpose. Almost every dispute between an office and its cleaning company traces back to something one party assumed was in scope and the other did not.

  • Category 3 / contaminated water, sewage backup
  • Mould remediation beyond surface treatment
  • Fire and smoke damage restoration
  • Biohazard, bodily fluid and trauma scene cleanup
  • Asbestos and lead abatement
  • Structural drying requiring an IICRC-certified restoration contractor

Same-Day & Emergency Cleaning: Frequently Asked Questions

Can you really come today?

In a building where we are already a registered vendor with insurance on file, often yes. In a building where we are not, the honest answer is 24 to 72 hours while the managing agent processes the Certificate of Insurance and issues credentials. Anyone promising otherwise has not dealt with a New York managing agent.

What does emergency cleaning cost?

1.5× to 2× standard rates, with a minimum call-out. Water extraction and specialist work are quoted separately. We will give you a number before we dispatch, not after.

Our cleaner didn't show up last night. What do we do?

First, ask the building for the badge log — it will tell you objectively whether anyone entered, and a surprising number of “no-shows” are actually access failures. Then invoke your contract's cure provision and claim the service credit. The full checklist is here, and yes, we will cover tonight if you need us to.

Ready for a Cleaning Contract You Can Actually Read?

Send us your square footage and how many nights you need. You get a written scope, a fixed monthly price, and the SLA in the same document — usually within two business days.
